what's it like?
Here at Levittown Church of God, we believe that a church gathering should be enjoyed not endured! Our services are Relevant, Contemporary, and Spirit-Filled. Our community welcomes our guests as family and understands that the local church is the central medium for God’s eternal plan of salvation for the world. Our heart is to spread God’s love to everyone we meet as well as to reach out to those who are seeking to find out more about Him. We are a Bible believing church, led by the Holy Spirit, and raised by God. We are not perfect vessels but are in the hands of the perfect potter who desires to mold each of us to be more like Him.
Our main service for adults and children is on Sundays at 8:30am & 10:30am. After a time of singing and worship, children are dismissed to Levittown KiDZ (10:30 gathering) - LCOG's fun-filled children's church in two groups. The Early Childhood group is designed for pre-school to 1st grade aged students and the lLower Elementary for grades 2-6.
So, what does a Sunday morning look like? After you park, there will be a few friendly people at the door to greet you as you walk in to the foyer and offer you a service guide. There will also be a Levittown KiDZ registration table in the sanctuary where one of our volunteers will assist you to register your children for Levittown KiDZ. Upon registering, you enter through 4 double doors into the sanctuary; if you have the time, feel free to tour the children's church facilities of Levittown KiDZ. They are located to the left (Early Childhood) or the right (Lower Elementary) as you enter the sanctuary. After visiting the Levittown KiDZ rooms, have your children sit in with you to start the adult service. The children will be dismissed to their respective groups with specific directions where friendly and dedicated individuals will teach them a practical and fun-filled lesson from the Bible. We want you to enjoy the service knowing that your kids are “Having a Blast and Learning a Lot!”
wednesday evening "life groups"
Life groups meet on a semester basis for approximately 10-12 weeks at the church facility as well as on Zoom. Groups consist of 6-10 members and are designed to facilitate growth in a casual and informal setting of a small group. Parents, feel free to bring your children on Wednesdays; there will be a group for teens as well as children for children 5 and over.
You are sure to grow as you invest in authentic relationships which will lead you to become a fully maturing disciple of Christ!
